Managing Workplace Diversity

The Canadian workplace is rapidly changing. While we tend to focus on the challenges gender, generational, and cultural differences bring, we should embrace the benefits diversity gives us, including increased innovation and creativity, recruitment, retention, and market share.

Managing Workplace Diversity focuses on providing training required to build diversity awareness at an individual level. Discover ways to demonstrate respect and inclusivity when interacting within a diverse organization. This full-day session will help attendees gain a stronger understanding of role diversity, inclusion, and respectful interactions in diverse workplaces.

Guests who complete this training session will successfully:

  • Define diversity and workplace inclusivity,
  • Understand the business case for diversity,
  • Explore challenges and benefits of managing diverse work teams,
  • Acknowledge how culture and age impacts one’s own perceptions, values and assumptions, and
  • Take away leadership strategies to build a welcoming and inclusive work environment.

Managing Workplace Diversity will help you and your colleagues feel valued and respected in an environment free of discrimination.
