Manitoba government has finalized the draft Phase Two plan and will implement measures effective June 1 to continue safely restoring services and opening additional businesses while ensuring physical distancing, Premier Brian Pallister announced today.

Breakfast with Abbvie
The Bioscience Association Manitoba will be hosting head officials from the pharmaceutical company Abbvie Inc. headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. The purpose of their trip to Manitoba is to look for academic research collaboration and investment opportunities within Manitoba. The officials that will be joining us are Dr. Mary Jo Chamberlain (Head of Academics Research and Evaluation), Dr. Yibing Wang (Senior scientist, Cell/Molecular Biology, Abbvie Discovery), David Link (Market Access and Government Affairs for Canada), and Harold Just (Provincial Affairs Manager for Manitoba).
