In this workshop, you will learn how to describe the steps involved in the entire recruitment process to make sound hiring decisions - from placing the ad to conducting effective candidate interviews.

Develop highly effective interview skills, including preparation, building a rapport, creating agendas and effective questions that are most applicable for the vacant position. Learn the legalities within the recruitment process and how to create strategies to effectively handle potentially challenging candidate responses and behaviours.

Barry Jansen

Barry is the lead instructor of the Leadership Development Program. Barry is a senior human resources and leadership consulting professional. Drawing from 25 years of experience. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Manitoba and a Certificate in Human Resource Management. As an HR professional, Barry is a long-term member of the Human Resources Management Association of Manitoba, the Society for Human Resource Management, and the Human Capital Institute.
