Learning Objectives

  • Customize slide layouts and add graphics to backgrounds
  • Create and use multiple themes, and share custom themes between presentations
  • Use copied, imported, linked, and embedded data from other presentations and programs to create presentations
  • Use graphics and animation effects to enhance presentations, and increase the impact of text and graphics in a presentation
  • Add notes and annotations to slides; and use PowerPoint features to rehearse, package, and prepare slide shows for presentation

  • Graphics and Animation Effects: Grouping/Ungrouping Shapes; Using Gridlines and Guidelines; Arranging Shapes; Merging Shapes; Editing Pictures; Animation Effects; Morphing Transition; 3D Models
  • Sharing Information: Creating Presentations Using Imported Text; Linking and Embedding Objects; Creating Hyperlinks; Zoom
  • Multimedia: Voice Recordings; Adding a Video; Online Videos; Editing a Video
  • Produce Advanced Slide Shows: Rehearsing Slide Timings; Captions and Subtitles; Create a Video; Create an Animated GIF; Create Handouts

Course Instructor: Claudette Craig

Claudette Craig is the owner of CD Consulting. She has more than 25 years of experience coordinating and facilitating courses, with a primary focus on the design and instruction of various Microsoft products. She has her Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification at the Master Level. Her background includes working with a wide client-base in all business sectors, developing and implementing database applications and designing user reference materials and online training videos.
