Younes Medical Technologies (YMT) seeks a full-time employee in the role of Quality Assurance Assistant for the maintenance of a quality management system specific to medical devices. Regular working hours (Mon-Fri days; exact hours are fairly flexible though core working hours apply).

Reporting to the Director, Quality Assurance, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Assisting in maintaining a Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 13485, 21CFR820, European Medical Device Regulations and Canadian Medical Device Regulations, including:
Corrective and preventive actions, internal and external audits, change control program, incoming products, document control and post-market surveillance
Attending and documenting minutes of meetings as required
Assisting the QA Director in other areas of the Quality Management System as required

Applicants should:

Have experience related to the job responsibilities
Be comfortable taking initiative and working independently while remaining a dedicated member of the team
Be vigilant and energetic in their work
Have strong English skills, both verbal and written
Strong documentation skills with exceptional attention to detail
Have good judgment and accountability
Demonstrate thoroughness and a good sense of organization
Be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship and able to pass a background check

Salary is negotiable.
