With existing ISO13485:2016 (Medical devices -- Quality management systems -- Requirements for regulatory purposes) certification for the manufacturing of Medical Devices through metal additive and subtractive manufacturing, as well as Controlled Goods Registration, Precision ADM is currently expanding our quality certifications to include AS9100D (Quality Management Systems - Requirements for Aviation, Space, and Defense Organizations).
We are seeking a full-time motivated experienced Quality Engineer to assist the Director of Quality in the implementation of the AS9100D standard and provide ongoing Quality Management System support.

Reporting to the Director of Quality, responsibilities will include:

• Planning, validation, control, and assurance of product and process quality
• Developing and implementing product and process testing and measuring programs
• Developing, implementing, measuring, and analyzing quality objectives
• Maintaining quality documentation and information systems
• Maintaining calibration and preventive maintenance systems
• Performing supplier qualification and certification
• Employing industry leading quality philosophies and approaches
• Participating in manufacturing risk and design reviews
• Assisting in internal and external quality audits, corrective, and preventive actions
• Conform to all quality, safety, and human resource policies and procedures

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of metal aerospace manufacturing exposure
• Fundamental understanding of aerospace quality systems and their development, documentation, and implementation  to domestic and international standards or requirements
• Existing or ability to achieve within 12 months an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer designation
• Experience in the quality audit process including types of audits, planning, preparation, execution, reporting results  and follow-up
• Ability to plan, control and assure product and process quality in accordance with quality principles, which include  planning processes, material control, acceptance sampling and measurement systems
• Thorough understanding of problem-solving and quality improvement tools and techniques
• Able to acquire and analyze data using appropriate standard quantitative methods across a spectrum of business  environments to facilitate process analysis and improvements
• Able to work in a fast-paced work environment while being detail oriented with good analytical and reasoning skills
• Excellent people and communication skills
• RCMP background check and meet the requirements of the Controlled Good Program
