The University of Winnipeg’s downtown Richardson College for the Environment and Science Complex is a state-of-the art facility which attracts leading researchers and students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The UWinnipeg advantage is its focus on interdisciplinary, collaborative research that tackles our most pressing problems including climate change adaptation on the Prairies, pollutants in our air and lakes, and diabetes prevention. Most recently, UWinnipeg partnered with the Canadian Centre for Agri-Food Research in Health and Medicine to create a health economist position to better understand the economic relationship between food and health, while helping to expand Manitoba’s capacity for innovation.
