The Climate and Green Plan Implementation Office (CGPIO) within the department of Environment and Climate supports the implementation of Manitoba’s Climate and Green Plan.

The Plan focuses on strategies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, advance innovation and clean technology, while conserving nature and water resources, adapting to a changing climate, and encouraging green economic opportunities within the province. The Office helps advance such solutions such as low carbon hydrogen and biofuels.
