Grand Opening of National Research Council's (NRC) Advanced Manufacturing Research Facility

This morning, National Research Council of Canada’s (NRC) advanced manufacturing research facility opening its doors for the time first time to the public and Iain Stewart, President of NRC, and Diane Gray, President & CEO of CentrePort Canada was the ceremony’s keynote speakers.

The $62 million new facility is built to meet the needs of local industries, businesses, and academic communities as well as to increase the NRC’s research and development (R&D) capabilities in digital manufacturing, and sustainable food packaging in response to the zero plastic waste initiative in Canada.
