Congratulations to those involved in biosciences who received the Province’s highest honour, the Order of Manitoba, on Thursday, July 12th, 2018:
- Dr. Sara J. Israels, a pediatric hematologist and oncologist
- Robert T. Kristjanson, a commercial fisher who helped to raise public awareness of the algae problem on Lake Winnipeg
- Dr. Grant N. Pierce whose research in cardiovascular medicine brought acclaim to the province
