Cerebra Health Inc. (“Cerebra” or the “Company”), a sleep focused digital health company, is pleased to announce that it has completed a $3.2 Million private financing, with investments by angel investors and existing shareholders. The financing was completed through a series of tranches conducted over the past 12 months, and is in addition to the previously announced, $2.5 million private financing completed on June 30, 2017.
Use of proceeds from the financing include the development of the new Prodigy Sleep System™, further advancement of the Company’s digital sleep analysis software, and mySleepStudy®, the Company’s soon to be released home sleep study service.
Cerebra utilized the Province of Manitoba’s Small Business Venture Capital Tax Credit (SBVCTC) Program for the majority of the private equity raise. The SBVCTC program provides a 45% provincial tax credit to eligible Manitoba investors who purchase eligible shares in an eligible Manitoba business.
