Bioscience Association Manitoba Applauds Selfless Efforts of Frontline Workers

Bioscience Association Manitoba (BAM) extends a thank you to the frontline workers across the province to acknowledge their efforts during this time. BAM member companies and others step up to donate Manitoba made products to show appreciation for essential workers

“Wellness Packages” comprise of products donated from the following Manitoba businesses; Kane Biotech, MSPrebiotics Inc., Better Hemp Company, Innotech Nutrition Inc., M & C Commodities, Mordens’ Chocolate of Winnipeg, Cornelia Bean, The Winning Combination and Nature’s Bounty.

More than 500 packages will be donated across the province including teams at COVID-19 testing sites, Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service and healthcare workers at Extendicare for their selfless service. In recognition of all the work that they do in delivering our goods we will also be contributing Wellness Packages for Truck Driver Appreciation day scheduled for next week.

“While we move through these challenging times, it’s important for us to share our gratitude with the people who have been helping in our community.” says Tracey Maconachie, President of Bioscience Association Manitoba.

BAM and the team will also visit local biotech companies to thank the employees working on new innovations targeting COVID-19 or producing needed goods.

“Our heartfelt thanks to all you and your families for serving and supporting Manitoba at this time. These locally produced health and wellness products are a small gesture of thanks from your community”- Jason Leibert, VP, Business Development, MSPrebiotics Inc.

We have done great work to flatten the curve, but we know the work is not done yet- added Tracey Maconachie. “It is important to continue to protect the vulnerable, the elderly, the disenfranchised and these people do that every day.”
