SciMar NuPa Test, a diagnostic test meal, is designed to assess the amount of hepatic insulin-sensitizing substance (the HISS hormone) produced by the liver after a meal. The trial includes 16 participants whose blood will be drawn and analyzed several times over 24 weeks. Validating SciMar NuPa Test is a key milestone on our journey to change the way the world understands, prevents, detects, and treats type 2 diabetes.
