Life Sciences BC Announces Presenting Companies Pitching at Invest in the West Presented by Amplitude Ventures

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Life Sciences British Columbia (LSBC) announces the companies presenting at the first annual Invest in the West presented by Amplitude Ventures on March 10, 2022. This virtual conference showcases a broad range of investor-ready life sciences companies from the Western Canada healthcare innovation ecosystem. The companies, who are seeking investors and strategic partners, have been selected following adjudication by an expert panel assessing investor readiness. Pitching sessions include diagnostics, digital health, therapeutics, medical devices, and medical technology, and an early look at graduating small and mid-size enterprises (SMEs) from our Investor Readiness Program 2022.


During the event, entrepreneurs will pitch their companies to secure funding from a wide range of investor stakeholders including , venture capitalists, corporate venture leaders and funding foundations. Held in collaboration with BioAlberta and Bioscience Association Manitoba, these sessions will showcase opportunities from the life sciences sector across Western Canada. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network through the virtual platform and set up Business to Business meetings

Invest in the West presented by Amplitude Ventures, is one of Life Sciences BC ’s investment- and innovation-focused signature events. Throughout the year, LSBC programs and initiatives raise the life sciences profile at home and abroad to encourage investment and global partnering opportunities.
