Intro to Emotional Intelligence

The Intro to Emotional Intelligence workshop provides a better understanding of what emotional intelligence is and why it is important to be aware of your emotional intelligence skills, as a person and professional.  
 
After completing the pre-work assessment tool, you will receive a detailed report on your individual result that will provide a snapshot of how your emotional intelligence compares to the research on emotional intelligence of high performing leaders. You will gain insight into your leadership strengths and potential growth opportunities.  
 
Pre-work: Completion of the online EQ-i 2.0 (Emotional Quotient Inventory 2.0) assessment tool 
 
Who Should Attend? 
This workshop is highly recommended for current managers, team leaders, supervisors, and CEOs who are interested in gaining a better understanding of their personal emotional intelligence skills and to learn how to develop those skills in order to reach their leadership potential.

INSTRUCTOR INFORMATION

Janice Gair, PCC, CPHR 

Janice brings over two decades of experience in governance, corporate strategy, human resources, and organizational development working at an international level.  She is co-founder and president, EI ADVANTAGE. Janice’s core values include social responsibility and servant leadership.   She proudly serves as Vice-Chair of the Women’s Enterprise Centre of Manitoba. She is a certified executive coach and has achieved the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation through the International Coaching Federation.   In addition, she holds the Chartered Professional Human Resources (CPHR) and Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP) designations.
